A warmer point of view.
Simple answers for a confident first infrared purchase.
Is it a real heater or just decorative?
A real heater. The artwork is printed on a working infrared panel, available at 500W, 600W and 750W, and it heats exactly as an infrared panel does — radiant warmth reaching people and the surfaces around them directly, with no fan, no moving parts and no glow. The picture is what you see; the heat is the point. Work out the output your room needs with our team, then choose from the artwork made for that panel on the picture panel page.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes, if you choose the With Smart Plug version. Each design comes as Heater Only or With Smart Plug: the smart plug adds app control and scheduling over Wi-Fi, so the panel can follow your week rather than a wall switch. Heater Only suits a room already wired to a thermostat. For a whole-home setup, see the KIASA smart control system.
Can it be ceiling mounted?
Picture panels are made to be looked at, so they are designed for wall mounting where the artwork can be seen. If you need the panel out of the way — limited wall space, or a room where furniture takes the walls — choose from the ceiling-mounted panels instead, which are built for that fixing. Not sure which suits the room? talk to us.
Can I supply my own photograph?
Yes. Alongside the curated artwork you can have your own photograph printed on the panel — see custom picture panels. Choose the output your room needs first, then the image, so the print is made for the right panel size. If you would rather not wait for a bespoke print, the ready-to-go designs ship from stock.
