Our story
Before KIASA had a showroom, a warehouse or even its name, it began with a question: could infrared heating be made better, more reliable and more accessible?
2026
After completing hundreds of projects across the UK and around the world, KIASA looks towards 2027 with a clear direction: to continue solving real heating challenges across wellness, heritage, commercial and residential spaces.
2025
New ideas became finished products and quality strengthened across the range. Kam joined as Technical Director, bringing leadership experience alongside the trust of a long-standing friend and former colleague.
2024
As housing-association projects expanded KIASA's commercial experience, Avni joined to lead operations, bringing structure and discipline as the business continued to grow.
2023
Exhibitions brought KIASA closer to customers and the wider industry, while key product developments helped shape the business and product range recognised today.
2022
After learning the trade through its early marketplace years, KIASA chose to invest in direct customer relationships, beginning the gradual move away from Amazon and other marketplaces.
2021
KIASA moved into its own independent warehouse and showroom - an important step from shared space to a front door of its own.
2020
The KIASA website launched while the brand was also achieving top-seller success on Amazon. The business was growing, but the website created an important direct connection between KIASA and its customers.
2019
Applications were made to register KIASA in the UK and Europe. KIA Motors opposed the name, beginning a seven-month challenge that ended with an agreement allowing KIASA to continue in heating - while staying away from transport on land, water and in the air.
2018
The KIASA name was created by combining the names of Jay's children, Kasa and Kiaan. What started as a family-inspired name became the identity of a growing heating business.
2017
The first infrared heater sold on Amazon. Customers responded to the combination of product quality, practical advice and honest value, and the garage quickly became too small. A local logistics company shared warehouse space and managed daily dispatches, while the garage became a home office.
2016
Before KIASA, there was OrianaK. The side project began in a home garage, where more than 20 products and samples were tested to understand infrared technology and the existing market. The name was inspired by oriens - associated with rising and the rising sun - while the K reflected the shared first initial of founder Jay's children.
