FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is the difference between Sona Ray and Sona Vybe?

Heating performance and smart functions are the same. Sona Vybe adds a built-in Bluetooth speaker.

How many heat levels?

Four. You can run the Sona Outdoor at a gentle level to take the edge off an evening, or at its full 2400W output when it turns cold. The heat is radiant, so it reaches you and the surfaces around you directly rather than warming the open air — which is what makes it work outdoors at all. As a guide, one heater suits roughly 15–20m² of patio or terrace.

Can it stay outside?

Yes. Sona is rated IP65, so it is sealed against dust and water jets and is built to live outside through British weather rather than be brought in each night. It is 100cm wide and 4.7kg, and can be wall mounted or set on the floor stand. Please follow the supplied installation clearances and electrical guidance — outdoor electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician.

How do I control it?

From your phone, over Wi-Fi, in the KIASA HOME app: switch it on, set the heat level and leave it to a schedule. Both models share the same 2400W platform, smart control and IP65 protection. The difference is sound — Sona Vybe adds a built-in speaker so you can play music through it, while Sona Ray is heat only. Compare them on the Sona Outdoor page.
