SALUS UG800 Universal Smart Gateway
The SALUS UG800 Universal Gateway is the central hub that connects SALUS smart thermostats and receivers to the cloud — enabling remote access, app control, and intelligent heating management across single or multiple sites.
Designed for commercial, multi-zone, and portfolio-wide heating systems, the UG800 is ideal for studios, gyms, hospitality spaces, offices, and larger residential installations using KIASA infrared heaters with SALUS controls.
By linking ZigBee-enabled SALUS devices to the internet via LAN or Wi-Fi, the UG800 allows users to monitor, adjust, and optimise heating performance from anywhere using the SALUS app.

FAQ
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
Are infrared heating panels cheap to run?
A panel draws its rated power only while it is heating. A 600W panel costs about 15p an hour on a 25p per kWh tariff, and less once the room is warm and the panel begins to cycle. The saving comes from heating the room you are in rather than the whole building.
What is the difference between the framed, frameless and portable E-Series panels?
They use the same infrared technology in three different fittings. The framed panel has a powder-coated surround and is designed to be fixed to a wall. The frameless panel has no visible edge, for a flusher finish. The portable panel sits on wheeled feet, so you can plug it in and move it between rooms.
Do I need wifi control, or is simple on-off enough?
On-off mains is the simplest and cheapest: the panel heats whenever it has power, so pair it with a wall switch or a plug-in timer. Smart wifi lets you schedule the panel and control it from your phone, which is worth it where a room is used at predictable times or where you are heating several rooms.
Can I install an infrared panel myself?
A plug-in panel needs no electrician: fit the bracket and plug it in. A panel wired into a wall circuit should be installed by a qualified electrician. KIASA approved installers can do either if you would rather not.
Do infrared panels work in a cold or poorly insulated room?
Infrared warms people and surfaces directly, so you feel it quickly even in a draughty room. A poorly insulated room loses that heat faster, though, so it needs more output to stay comfortable. Tell us about the room and we will specify the right size rather than guess.
